Jonathan H. Westover

Jonathan H. Westover serves as associate dean and director of HR Programs, bringing his extensive expertise in organizational leadership, human capital management and workplace culture transformation to the institution.

Westover previously spent 17 years at Utah Valley University's Woodbury School of Business, where he developed and directed the undergraduate HR bachelor's program, served as chair of the Organizational Leadership Department, and as academic director of the UVU Center for Social Impact.

His consulting career spans two decades working with organizations worldwide on leadership development, organizational change and human capital optimization. His international credentials include multiple appointments as a Fulbright Scholar in Liberia, Colombia, Indonesia and Belarus, a Visiting Academic at the University of Oxford, and research fellowships at prestigious institutions including the Wilson Center and East-West Center.

Westover earned his Ph.D. in Sociology with a focus on Work and Organizations from the University of Utah and an MPA with an HR emphasis from Brigham Young University. His research has been widely published in academic journals, and he is frequently quoted as a management expert in leading media outlets including Forbes, The Economist and The Wall Street Journal.
